Frequently Asked Question
Use this article if DeskCamera does not open, closes immediately, or shows an error during startup.
First steps
1) Restart the PC.
2) Install the latest DeskCamera version.
3) If DeskCamera was recently updated, run the DeskCamera installer again and choose repair or reinstall.
4) Check whether antivirus, endpoint protection, or other security software is blocking DeskCamera.
5) If the problem started after installing another program, temporarily close that program and try DeskCamera again.
If DeskCamera opens but the camera does not start
This is usually a camera, network, or port problem rather than an application startup problem.

- If the error mentions port 8090 or ONVIF port binding, see Fix ONVIF Port 8090 Already in Use.

If it still does not start
Collect DeskCamera log files and send them to support with a screenshot or the exact text of the error message.
