Frequently Asked Question
Use this article if the DeskCamera video is blocky, distorted, pulsing, delayed, freezing, or choppy.
Start with the simple checks
1) Update DeskCamera to a newer version.
2) Test one stream first. If one stream works well, add the other streams back one by one.
3) Use a wired network connection when possible.
4) Reduce the screen resolution or FPS if the PC or network is under heavy load.
If the video is blocky or distorted
The stream may need more bitrate for the selected resolution and FPS. Increase the bitrate if the network can handle it, or reduce the resolution or FPS.
If the video freezes or has missing frames
The PC or network may be overloaded. Lower the FPS, lower the resolution, or reduce the number of active streams.
If the problem happens only with several streams
Check the GPU adapter used by DeskCamera and try a lower total load.
For encoder settings, see Adjust Encoder parameters.
For high FPS screen streaming, see Stream a Screen at up to 60 FPS.
For GPU adapter selection, see Change the GPU adapter used by DeskCamera.
