Check Who Is Connected to Your Camera

Use this article to check that your NVR/VMS (the recording system) is really connected to your camera.
The green eye icon
A green eye icon with a number appears next to a source under Video Sources. It appears only while an NVR/VMS or video player (a program that plays video, for example VLC media player) is connected. The number shows how many are connected to this source.
Point at the icon to see their IP addresses. The list shows the first three. The line under them says how many more are connected, for example "+1 more".
In Camera details, the icon is next to the stream.
Check that your NVR/VMS is connected
Use the icon to check that your NVR/VMS is really connected. No green eye icon means that nothing is connected to this source.
