Use this article to open the DeskCamera page from another computer in your network.

Before you start

• You can open the DeskCamera page on the DeskCamera PC, and you have created the browser management password. The page calls it the Remote Control password. You can create the password only on the DeskCamera PC. See Manage DeskCamera from a Web Browser.
• The other computer is in the same network, or connected by VPN (a secure connection to another network).

Open the page

1. On the DeskCamera PC, open the DeskCamera page.

2. Click Settings > Network access.

3. Copy an address under FROM ANOTHER DEVICE, OPEN:.

   

4. On the other computer, open a web browser.

5. Paste the full address into the address bar.

6. The browser can show a certificate warning. Continue only if the address is your DeskCamera PC. For example, in Microsoft Edge, click Advanced. Then click Continue to … (unsafe).

   

7. Sign in with your browser management password.

   

Good to know

• The address localhost:5099 works only on the DeskCamera PC.

Important: Use this page only in a trusted local network or through a VPN. Do not open this page to the Internet.
