Frequently Asked Question

Use this article to add DeskCamera to Avigilon Control Center (the recording system).

Before you start, in DeskCamera

1. Check that Camera Settings shows Started Cameras (1) or more. If it shows Offline, click Start.

   

2. Write down the Camera Address (the IP address and port) and the ONVIF User and password. Click the eye button to see the password.

   

3. To add one stream by its RTSP URL, copy the URL in Camera details. See Copy the Direct RTSP URL of a Stream.

The video shows how to connect Avigilon Control Center (ACC) to DeskCamera. Some screens in the video may look different.

If it does not work

• NVR/VMS Cannot Find DeskCamera or Show Live Video
• NVR/VMS Asks for a User Name or Password
• NVR/VMS Shows Only One Screen or Channel

SOAP tricks is on by default. If DeskCamera does not connect, click Stop. In OPTIONS > Compatibility, check that SOAP tricks is turned on. Then click << BACK, then click Start.
