Integrating DeskCamera with Dahua NVR

Use this article to add DeskCamera to a Dahua NVR (the recording system).
Before you start, in DeskCamera
Check that Camera Settings shows Started Cameras (1) or more. If it shows Offline, click Start.
Write down the Camera Address (the IP address and port) and the ONVIF User and password. Click the eye button to see the password.
To add one stream by its RTSP URL, copy the URL in Camera details. See Copy the Direct RTSP URL of a Stream.

Good to know
- A Dahua NVR may show only one of your screens or webcams. See NVR/VMS Shows Only One Screen or Channel.
If it does not work
- NVR/VMS Cannot Find DeskCamera or Show Live Video
- NVR/VMS Asks for a User Name or Password
- NVR/VMS Shows Only One Screen or Channel
SOAP tricks is on by default. If DeskCamera does not connect, click Stop. In OPTIONS > Compatibility, check that SOAP tricks is turned on. Then click << BACK, then click Start.
