Use this article if DeskCamera cannot activate the license because Windows does not trust the license server certificate.

Most common fix

1) Check that the PC date, time, and time zone are correct.

2) Install the latest Windows Updates.

3) Restart the PC.

4) Try license activation again.

Check secure website access

Open a browser on the same PC and check that https://www.deskcamera.com/ opens without a certificate warning.

If DeskCamera's website or other secure websites show certificate warnings, the Windows certificate store may be outdated or managed by company policy. Ask your IT administrator to check the PC.

Do not bypass certificate warnings

Do not install unknown certificates from unofficial websites. If support asks you to install a certificate manually, use only the official certificate authority website or instructions from your IT administrator.

Send DeskCamera support the activation error message and the DeskCamera log files.
