Use offline installation and activation when the DeskCamera PC does not have Internet access.

Before you start, use another computer with Internet access to download the DeskCamera installer, your license file, and any required Windows components. See System requirements. For silent deployment to multiple PCs, see Remote Deployment and Configuring DeskCamera.

If the installer cannot download prerequisites automatically, install them manually before installing DeskCamera.

Offline activation has three steps:

1. On the DeskCamera PC, create an Offline Activation Request file (.req) in DeskCamera.
2. On a computer with Internet access, open the License Activation portal and use the request file (.req) together with your license file (.lic) to create an Activated License file (.act).
3. Move the Activated License file (.act) back to the DeskCamera PC and import it in DeskCamera.

The request file is created for one PC. Repeat the offline activation process for each new DeskCamera installation.
