Last Updated 20 hours ago

Use this article to send a motion event to your NVR/VMS (the recording system) when someone uses the keyboard or the mouse of this PC. For example, the NVR/VMS can record only while someone uses the PC.

Before you start

Your NVR/VMS must support ONVIF motion events.

Turn on motion events

  1. Click Stop.

  2. Open Video & Audio Settings and select the screen.

  3. Set Motion events to Enable.

  10. In your NVR/VMS, set this camera to use its motion events, for example to record on motion. See the manual of your NVR/VMS.

If it does not work

  • If the NVR/VMS shows no events, check that Motion events is set to Enable for the screen that the NVR/VMS records. Each screen has its own setting.
  • Also check that the NVR/VMS uses the motion events of this camera.
