Using Subscription Floating License with no Internet connection

A Subscription Floating License normally needs Internet access. If the DeskCamera PCs do not have Internet access, install Local Subscription Server (LSS) on one PC in the same network.

LSS works as a local relay between DeskCamera PCs and the DeskCamera license server.

Requirements

- Install LSS on a 64-bit Windows PC in the customer network.
- The LSS PC must have Internet access, or at least be allowed by the firewall to reach the DeskCamera license server at activationservice.net.
- DeskCamera PCs without Internet access must be able to reach the LSS PC inside the local network.

Using the license on an offline DeskCamera PC

1) Install and configure LSS on the network.
2) Open DeskCamera on the offline PC.
3) Enter the LSS address and the subscription license information as shown below.
4) Activate the subscription through LSS.
